Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026 · These terms apply to all GetCode users worldwide.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using GetCode, you agree to these Terms. You must be 18 or older to use GetCode. If you are using GetCode on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The service
GetCode provides AI-powered code generation for up to 10 output types including websites, images, video scripts, PDFs, Excel files, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, email templates, charts, and APIs. We generate code based on your prompts. Output quality depends on the clarity and detail of your input.
3. AI-generated content disclaimer
Code and content generated by GetCode is produced by AI models and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected outputs. You must review all generated code before using it in production. GetCode makes no warranty that generated code is correct, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. Do not rely on AI-generated content as professional legal, medical, financial, or security advice.
4. Your content and IP
You retain all rights to the prompts you submit. You own all code and content generated for you by GetCode. By submitting prompts, you grant GetCode a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely to deliver the service. We do not use your prompts or outputs to train AI models.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use GetCode to generate malware, exploit code, or content intended to harm others. You may not generate content that infringes intellectual property rights, constitutes harassment, or violates any law. You may not attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape the service, or reverse engineer our AI routing. Full details in our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Plans and billing
Free plan users receive 20 generations per month at no charge. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in USD via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Downgrading to free occurs automatically on cancellation.
7. Refunds
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first payment on any paid plan, no questions asked, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. After 14 days, no refunds are issued except at our sole discretion. Refund requests: billing@getcode.one.
8. Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your Stripe subscription is cancelled immediately with no further charges. Your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by HMRC.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or make changes to the service with or without notice. Our status page at getcode.one/status shows current and historical uptime.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetCode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to GetCode in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of GetCode after changes constitute acceptance. If you do not agree to changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
