How do I create an account?

Click "Get started" on the homepage. Enter your email, choose a username, and set a password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account.

How do I generate code?

Go to your dashboard, select an output type (Website, PDF, Excel, etc.), type your prompt in the box, and click Generate. Your output will stream in real-time.

What is prompt improvement?

On Starter plan and above, GetCode automatically refines your prompt before sending it to the AI. This significantly improves output quality without any extra effort from you.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to Dashboard → Billing and click Upgrade. You can switch plans at any time. Annual plans save 20%.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — full refund within 14 days of any paid plan, no questions asked. Email billing@getcode.one.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You'll see a clear message explaining your credit balance and options. You can wait until your credits reset on the 1st of the next month, or upgrade for more credits immediately.

The output has errors. What should I do?

Try adding more detail to your prompt. Describe exactly what you want, including specific sections, styles, or features. You can also try regenerating — AI output varies slightly each time.

Can I edit the generated code?

Yes. You can edit directly in the code panel on the dashboard, or copy the code into any editor (VS Code, Cursor, etc.) and modify it freely. It's your code.

How do I get a live preview?

Live preview is available on Starter plan and above. After generation completes, the preview panel on the right shows your output rendered in real time.

Who can see my generated code and projects?

Only you. All your generations, history, and projects are private by default. No other user — not even teammates on a Team plan — can see your work unless you explicitly share it. There is no shared team feed.

Do I own the code GetCode generates for me?

Yes, completely. You own 100% of all code, designs, documents, and other content generated for you. GetCode makes no intellectual property claim on your outputs. You can use, sell, or distribute anything you generate without attribution or restriction.

Does GetCode use my prompts or outputs to train AI?

No. Your prompts, uploaded files, and generated outputs are never used to train any AI model — ours or our providers'. When your prompt is sent to an AI provider, it is processed under agreements that explicitly prohibit training on customer data. This applies to all plans including Free.

What is the Showcase Gallery and is it opt-in?

The Showcase Gallery is a public space where users can share their favourite generations. It is 100% opt-in — a generation only appears there if you explicitly click "Gallery" in the output panel. Nothing is ever published automatically. Published items show your username and output type; your email is never shown. You can remove any gallery item at any time.

Can my teammates on a Team plan see my generations?

No. Team plans share billing and credit usage at the organisation level, but each member's generations and projects remain completely private to that individual. There is no team-shared history or generation feed. A team owner can see total credits consumed by the team, but not the content of any individual's generations.

How does deletion work? Is it permanent?

Yes, deletion is immediate and permanent. Deleting a generation removes it instantly from your history and our database. Deleting a gallery item removes it from public view immediately. Deleting your account removes all your generations immediately and your personal data within 30 days. We do not keep soft-deleted copies of your content.

Can I share my generated output with others?

You can copy your generated code and share it freely — it's yours. GetCode does not provide "share with a link" for private generations. If you want to show something publicly, you can publish it to the Showcase Gallery. Otherwise, copy and share the code directly.

What happens to files I upload for generation?

Uploaded files (PDFs, images, etc.) are used only to process your generation request and are deleted immediately after the generation completes. They are never stored permanently, indexed, or used for any other purpose.

How do I change my username?

Go to Settings and update your username. You can change it once every 30 days if the new username is available.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. Your subscription is cancelled immediately. All your generations are deleted immediately. Your personal data is fully removed within 30 days.
